If any of my numerous readers have not been to the Mythical Beast Sweet Shoppe in Weston-super-Mare yet, I highly recommend that you do go next weekend. It is open for two more weekends, and although the art is now available online as well (here: http://themythicalbeastsweetshoppe.bigcartel.com/ - Unusual horses hopefully coming soon), the shop is just a lovely place to visit. Camilla assures me that it is always sunny in Weston, and the last two weekends were no exception. Birnbeck pier is a magical little surprise, hidden just round the corner from the main promenade and
